North Arm Knives Custom Wild Sheep Society of BC engraved knife with carbon fibre handle.
The Lynx hunting knife was designed with the help of the hunting community in British Columbia. It’s a knife geared to making the processing of game as efficient as possible. The CPM S35VN stainless steel blade is the key to it’s edge-holding, both in the chemistry of the alloy and the Rockwell hardness of the heat treatment.
The blade is wide and thin with plenty of belly, yet sharp at the tip for plunging when needed. The Lynx’s hand-filling handle is still slim and light enough for easy maneuverability. The Lynx comes with either a high visibility orange G10 handle or black G10 as standard, or can optionally be ordered with solid carbon fiber composite. The CF is a bit lighter than G10, but also very strong and definitely cool looking.
The knife comes with either or right or left handled Kydex sheath, molded to the blade. The sheath hangs from a stiff webbing belt loop in either our standard length or an optional extended length version (for clearing of hip straps on packs). Right handed sheath’s are designed for carry on the right hip (the knife is drawn with the right hand) while left handed sheath’s are carried on the left hip (and drawn with the left); choose which you need when you make your order.
While the Lynx is optimized for hunting, it’s also a great knife for fishermen and general purpose cutting chores at the campsite. We did not design the Lynx as a bushcrafting knife, for batoning and such. Use a hatchet, machete or other beefy blade for those jobs.
The Lynx takes its name from the Canada Lynx. Between 20 and 50 thousand Lynx are estimated to live in BC, mostly in the colder areas away from the coast, where they primarily live off their preferred diet of snowshoe hares.

The Wild Sheep Society of BC (WSSBC) is organized to benefit wild sheep by generating funds by auctioning items donated by individuals and/or companies.
Any bid made at a WSSBC auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, online or at a silent auction, constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone or online bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf AND requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction. In the event that the successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the fifth business day after the close of the auction.
Any failure of compliance with the provision above will result in the addition of any costs incurred because of non-compliance, plus the addition of interest at the rate of 1% per month, or portion thereof, that payment is late. Auction items must be paid for by the close of Convention. Payments will be taken at the auction payment table after the evening auction. Payments can be made by cash, check, Visa and MasterCard. If the winner of an auction refuses to pay the winning bid price plus any premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid. If the next highest bidder declines the item or if the second highest bidder is unknown, the President shall dispose of the item at his/her discretion.
ONLINE BIDDING: All online bidders will be required to pay a 5% buyer’s premium up to a maximum of $250. Proceeds will go to WSSBC's Conservation Initiatives.
You will also be asked to provide the following information: Full Name, Email address, Address, Phone number, Credit card number, which an AVS is completed (Address Verification System) All purchases over the amount of $10,000 will require a call back from WSSBC Auction Team for verification.

FIREARMS: Before taking possession of your purchased firearm, the gun must be registered in compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws.

WSSBC AUCTION ITEM POLICY:
All goods in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The purchaser acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by WSSBC, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other weapons to obtain a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods sold in both the live and silent auctions are sold ‘’AS IS” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of WSSBC. WSSBC provides no warranties of fitness and expressly disclaims the same. WSSBC does not accept any liability or responsibility for any product, design, or use. Any written warranties on the goods delivered to the high bidder are those solely of the manufactures, and/or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer.
All services, hunts, or otherwise, in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “goods” above. No services in the live auction are to be or will be performed by WSSBC. WSSBC shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services, or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The purchaser also acknowledges that in the event that services are purchased, WSSBC cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the United States. WSSBC cannot be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from. WSSBC reserves the right to add items to the auctions as additional donations become available. Only WSSBC exhibitors may solicit and/ or market to permit buyers or attendees on the expo or auction floor during our conventions.
