Frontier Gear of Alaska Super Cub Jacket & 1/4 zip pullover donated by Barney's Sports Chalet.
Super Cub Jacket:
GLACIER GREY ** Named after the lightweight, high performing Super Cub aircraft this jacket was designed to meet the demands of the most weight conscious hunter. Sandwiched between two layers of wind-proof and highly water resistant Pertex Endurance fabric is Primaloft sport insulation. Primaloft is a superior product because it is highly compressible and does not retain moisture. Using the best synthetic insulation on the market eliminates the need for baffles, which keeps you warmer as you glass for sheep from a windswept summit in the Chugach Mountain Range. The super cub jacket boasts two zippered waist pockets, a zippered inner chest pocket, a roll-away Pertex hood, and thumb holes. These thumb holes allow use of your fingers while you glass or shoot but keep the majority of your hand protected from the wind and cold. When the weather turns nasty you will be glad you brought your Super Cub.
Use this jacket in conjunction with the popular Brooks Range jacket and pant for extreme cold weather hunts.

Wooly Mammoth 1/4 zip Pullover:
One of the newest additions to the Frontier Gear of Alaska line, the Wooly Mammoth is a piece that Bob and Kevin have been eager to design for many years. Stemming from the old school concept of wool, the Wooly’s main body is Pontetorto Techno Wool. The conversation around fleece vs. wool has always been a topic of discussion around any outdoor shop, however the unique thing about Techno Wool is the fact that it brings two rival enemies who are great at what they do, to the same side. With a Wool outer face, backed with a brushed fleece, the Wooly offers what we feel as one of the most functional 1/4 zip pullovers on the market today. The Wooly has become exceedingly popular with our bush pilots and sheep hunters alike who spend a lot of time in the back of a SuperCub, as it’s flame retardant properties offer that extra sense of security in the event of a disaster.
Understanding how hard not only Guides and Outfitters are on their gear, but Sheep, Goat, Moose and Bear hunters alike, we wanted to make sure we reinforced all our high wear areas where we see the most failures in other garments. Using one of the industries most durable but technical fabrics, we added Schoeller reinforcements from the elbow to the wrist sections on the underarm. With Polartech Power Stretch side panels for ventilation and mobility when in the field, a 1/4 zip YKK zipper, Thumbholes on the wrist section for layering, and finished with a small left chest pocket, we feel we have pulled out all the stops in the Wooly Mammoth Pullover.
